What are some of the "small things" you can do "with great love"?

Find a quiet place.   Close your eyes.  Slowly breathe in and out. Empty your mind of all that needs to be done, that is trying to get your attention.  After a few minutes of silence, read:

God saw the world falling to ruin because of fear and immediately acted to call it back with love.  God invited it by grace, preserved it by love, and embraced it with compassion.
