This relatively short book is an Abridgment of the much larger work History of the Catholic Church in Scotland.

I like this book because he addresses Iona, and also saints associated with Cumbria (including St. Margaret for example). This IS an older work and the language is not like that of a modern author . . . but I think this is a solid resource.
