Stars/lights for signs and seasons, sun, moon, stars

Find time throughout the day to notice the light on the ocean:  the morning light, the mid-day sun sparkling on the water, the moon and stars of evening.  Take a photo of each stage of light throughout the day.  Journal what each stage of light means to you.  Can you tell a story from dawn to dusk?

Consider the contrast of light for today.  If you have a light meter, notice the difference between your brightest and darkest portions of your scene.  How does that change throughout the day?  Concentrate on your composition to highlight these differences in contrast.
